Business Challenge
CNH needed a way to collect customer data acquired through demonstrations of their high horsepower tractor lines. This customer data provided CNH with a means to continue the sales process as well as reward dealers for promoting their products. The application needed to be easy to use and remotely accessible.

Vertex Solution
Vertex Internet laid the groundwork for a basic survey application allowing dealers to login with their dealer number and complete customer data for submission to CNH. In order to react to dealer needs, Vertex Internet then modified the application to allow dealers to save tractor models and serial numbers with their dealer number. This enabled dealers to easily re-visit the application to enter customer data for tractors already stored within the system.

Even after customer data has been saved, dealers are able to edit customer data in the event they gain additional information or make a mistake upon submission. On the back-end of the application CNH sales managers are able to export customer data in common format for use internally within their company.

Impact
By enabling CNH dealers to go online to fill out this customer survey, Vertex Internet has given CNH a portable solution for manipulation of customer data. Additionally, the survey application was developed with dynamic programming so that additional surveys can be created and customized in the future.
